Day One: Arrival at Vancouver International Airport.
You will be met by Wild BC Tours staff at the airport, and transferred to your downtown hotel. An evening drink and get together is planned so y
ou may meet the other members of your group and get to know your guide. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day Two: Vancouver Train to Kamloops
Board the world-renowned Rocky Mountaineer train at the Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver Station. Pass through the fertile fields of the Fraser Valley and view the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before entering the Fraser Canyon. You’ll see the thundering waters of Hell’s Gate and follow the Thompson River to historic Kamloops, gateway to the Interior of British Columbia. Stay overnight in Kamloops.
Day Three: Kamloops Train to Banff
Continue east through the vast ranchlands along the South Thompson River, past Craigellachie, where the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, and enter Rogers Pass, with its tunnels, snowsheds and glistening glaciers. This Rocky Mountain rail tour then climbs through the Spiral Tunnels and over the Continental Divide to Banff National Park. End your rail journey in Banff, to be greeted by Wild BC staff for you transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Banff.
Day Four: Banff
After breakfast, a city tour of Banff including a visit to Cave and Basin National Historic Site and a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a million dollar view of the valley and peaks in the Banff area. Banff is one of only two municipalities within a national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Home to 8,721 residents, it hosts approximately 3 million guests each year. The community has embraced an aggressive growth management plan as a means to preserve this unique small town.

Day Five: Banff to Jasper
Breakfast. Early morning departure for a stop at world renowned Lake Louise for a stroll along the famous lakeside. Then continuing on to the most scenic highway in world, the Jasper Parkway. During the afternoon we travel along the Parkway past amazing mountain peaks, glaciers, and lakes like Peyto (pea-toe) named for Ebenezer William Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area. Wildlife is common along with the spectacular mountain scenery; the shots below were taken on just one trip along the parkway.

Day Six: Jasper to Sask Cro

Breakfast. Late departure for a visit to the Columbia Ice Fields where we will ride the famous glacier buses across the permanent ice fields of the continental divide. Overnight at Saskatchewan Crossing. High in the mountains, with
breathtaking views of the surrounding moutains, and halfway between Banff and Jasper; this wonderfully isolated outpost boasts 66 rooms along with a 250 seat Dining Room, 125 seat Cafeteria, 70 seat Pub and a 3000 square foot Gift Shop. At the peak season, it takes about 80 staff members to operate the resort. It is named for the Saskatchewan River which travels from this point eastward across the continent.
Day Seven: Sask Crossing to Three Valley Gap

fast, This day will be spent traveling the high mountain passes; the notorious Rogers Pass to Yoho National Park, then on to the Kicking Horse pass with stops at the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge. Three Valley Gap is tucked into the mountains on a clear lake where three valleys connect(hence the name). The evening will be free to explore
the Three Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town , a unique collection of heritage pioneer buildings, which transports visitors back to the 1800s. Also included is the Antique Auto Museum features automobiles from 1902 through 1929, and guests can also explore the vast Railway Roundhouse, the largest covered Turntable and Roundhouse complex in Canada.
(Or perhaps even take in a performance at the Walter Moberly Theater.) Overnight at Three Valley Lake Chateau.
Day Eight: Three Valley Gap to Kelowna
Breakfast, This day we spend the morning traveling south into the furtile fruite and wine growing region. Of course we will stop for a little wine tasting along the way. Arrive Kelowna mid afternoon. Overnight in Kelowna.
Day Nine: Kelowna to Vancouver
Climbing back into the Coast Mountains we follow the old gold rush trail route down the Fraser canyon with stops at historic, and naturally beautiful sites along the way. Our route takes us down the narrow Fraser Canyon with a stop at Hells' Gate Rapids on the Fraser river for a lunch stop and a ride on the air tram across the river. Evening arrival in Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day Ten: Breakfast and end of tour. Please note transfers to the airport are not included.
